Surveillance Trainee Operator

As a Surveillance Trainee Operator reporting directly to the Surveillance Duty Manager, this role offers an extraordinary opportunity to establish overall property control, safety & security whilst protecting the assets and maintaining gaming integrity. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Surveillance.

**A few of your responsibilities**:

- Investigate and Report on activities that potentially pose a threat to the integrity of the operations and casino statutory obligations
- Review CCTV footage to resolve all gaming inquiries and disputes from internal and external customers
- Monitor alarm systems and coordinate an appropriate response via communications systems to relevant operational departments and emergency services
- Maintain a high level of job knowledge relating to CCTV, gaming, security, alarm systems and other job-related systems
- Monitor and Report on all critical incidents across The Star complex

**What we are looking for**:

- Availability to work a rotating roster (12hr shifts), including weekends & public holidays
- Excellent keyboard typing proficiency & computer skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Casino gaming experience preferred but not essential
- Attention to detail with good focus & concentration ability
- Available to start late April 2025
