Palliative Care Specialist

What your day will look like....
You'll be working closely with patients at various stages of life-limiting illness, providing compassionate, evidence-based care across inpatient, outpatient, community and hospice settings. Whether you're conducting home visits, leading telehealth consults for remote communities, or contributing to multidisciplinary care plans, you'll bring a person-centred approach to every interaction. Alongside clinical work, you'll mentor junior doctors, collaborate with GPs and allied health professionals, participate in service development and contribute to a strong team culture that prioritises dignity, empathy and innovation in end-of-life care.
Applications from agencies will not be considered. Flexible work options available for fulltime or part time. You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $368,514 ($100.78/hr) (L18) up to $460,349 ($127.77/hr) (L27) which includes motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
