Farm Manager

Yulong Stud is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of **Farm Manager**.
Reporting to the COO and Directors, the successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing the care and management of all day-to-day farm and garden operations.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Pasture management,
- Irrigation management,
- Farm developments,
- Vehicle maintenance,
- Project management,
- Assisting with cattle management,
- Ensuring all areas of the farms are kept to a high standard,
- Reporting to the owner on farm progress,
- Purchasing items as required,
- Overseeing all staff on the farm and gardening crew,
- Overseeing all WHS procedures and requirement are to industry standard,
- Maintaining accurate records on computer.
To be successful, you must demonstrate:
- Knowledge and experience of all duties and responsibilities listed above,
- Ability to motivate and manage a team,
- Ability to maintain equipment to a high standard,
- Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience in Horticulture,
- A current driver’s license,
- Computer literacy,
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks,
- Ability to manage projects and drive results,
- Clear and developed communication skills and attention to detail,
- Excellent work ethic and can-do attitude.
