**About the role**

This is a rare opportunity to join our market leading and award-winning global IP group. Reporting to the Global Director of Intellectual Property, and with oversight from the Global IP Portfolio Manager, you will proactively and efficiently provide technical support to the IP team by providing expert advice and assistance in the prosecution and management of our IP portfolio, as well as general administrative support to the broader legal, co-sec and insurance teams.
- Assessing incoming IP office and foreign agent correspondence to advise the IP team and business on next steps, and instructing external lawyers accordingly
- Day to day management of our web-based IP portfolio management database '“ WebTMS - including oversight of over 4000 trademarks, copyright, designs and patents in over 100 countries
- Extracting and inputting pertinent information and data, and managing deadlines and actions within WebTMS and ensuring that the status of cases is current and accurate
- Owning the tracking and communication of related case dates, including renewals
- Obtaining, analysing and actioning status reports from external lawyers

**About you**
- Solid understanding of IP law and prosecution procedures across multiple markets
- Trademark and legal support skills, including managing an IP database
- A strong client service orientation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills
- A commitment to high work standards and excellent attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
