About the role

As a Kitchen Hand Food Processor at Herbidoor you will be responsible for assisting our chefs with plating up meals, sealing meals for customers, packing orders, and helping with general meal preparation, packing orders, kitchen cleanliness and stock control.

This will be a challenging role, and very dynamic. It will require excellent attention to detail, communication and time management skills.

We are looking for someone with a passion for food, especially vegan or plant based food (but not necessary). A person who is eager to learn and to grow.

The role’s responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Plating up meals with a keen eye to detail of the meal.
- Prioritise the customer experience and have a commitment to providing our customers with a high level of service.
- Maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness as well as adhere to OH&S.
- Have an understanding or can easily learn the principles of stock rotation.
- Pick and pack orders for customers.
- Be on top of removable of waste, keep kitchen free of foreign materials.
- Be able to action and assist in operational improvements.
- Be teachable and prepared to learn.
- Reading, studying and listening to podcasts. Committing to growth and education is a must.
- Must be willing to learn our products inside out.

Skills & Experience

- A forklift license would be great, or would be willing to undergo training.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 25 per week

**Salary**: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
