Draftsperson

**About Us and the Role**:
Our Manufacturing Group is a family-owned business which manufactures permanent formwork for concrete stairs & other associated products.

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated & professional to support our Technical & Design Team on a permanent full-time basis in Goulburn, NSW.

**Your duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Read and interpret Architectural, Structural & other relevant drawings relating to fire stairs and general access/egress stairs
- Populate relevant parameters/data pulled from the drawings related to the stairs etc into our Drafting Software.
- Produce shop drawings in CAD
- Submit shop drawings to our client for review &
- Communicate with clients, builders, architects, engineers & other relevant consultants throughout the shop drawing review & approval process.
- Liaise with Production & Factory Staff throughout the manufacturing

**About You**:
Ideally, you are an excellent communicator who has the confidence to liaise professionally & clearly with clients, builders & consultants every day of the week.

**You must possess the following skills to be considered for the role**:

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- CAD experience
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Access experience
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Great attention to detail
- Practical/hands-on experience in manufacturing/construction.
- Currently reside in Australia
