**Experienced Painter - VIBGYOR PAINTING PTY LTD**

**Location**: Clyde, VIC **Salary**: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum + Superannuation **Employment Type**: Full-Time

VIBGYOR PAINTING PTY LTD is a growing painting company based in Clyde. We are currently seeking an experienced painter to join our dynamic team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Surface Preparation**: Prepare the site for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing old paint, wallpapers, and other coverings where required.
- **Protective Measures**: Secure the painting area from any damage by laying drop sheets, plastic sheets, and other protective materials to prevent paint splattering on adjacent areas.
- **Color Matching and Mixing**: Mix and match paints and stains to match specified colors and textures, providing guidance to clients on color choices and finishes.
- **Decorative Techniques**: Use specialized techniques for decorative finishes such as textures, faux finishes, and stenciling when requested by clients.
- **Tool Operation**: Operate and maintain all painting tools and equipment, including ladders, scaffolds, and safety gear, ensuring proper safety measures on-site.
- **Project Management**: Work collaboratively with site supervisors to meet deadlines, maintain workflow, and deliver work on time.
- **Client Interaction**: Communicate with clients to understand their preferences, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- **Site Cleanup**: Clean and organize the site after completing the job, removing any waste materials and ensuring a neat space for handover.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in painting
- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating required
- White Card (construction induction card) required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Excellent communication skills
