Collaboration between our educators, our children and their families is vital and we constantly strive to nurture and support this connection. **_About the centre: _** - 29 place centre in the Lower North Shore of Chatswood - Working in the 3/4 years Junior Preschool room. - Centre awarded "exceeding" in assessment & rating 2018 - Newly renovated large natural outdoor play areas. - Well resourced, fabulous facilities, supportive management. - Experienced team of knowledgeable educational professionals. - Excellent salary - well above industry award - Ongoing training & professional development for YOU to grow - Own enterprise agreement for salaries based on experience **_**_ - **Key responsibilities included yet are not limited to: _** - Provide a supportive and educational environment for children. - Assist in writing observations and developmental profiles. - Set up group time and outdoor activities. - Assisting with daily routines such as feeding and sleeping. - Interacting with children to encourage social development. - Ensuring children’s well-being is maintained at all times. - Working in line with NQS and the EYLF. - A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA. - A current First Aid Certificate. - A minimum of 6 months experience working with children in a professional capacity. - Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - The ability to be flexible and adaptable. - Be receptive to further training and direction. - Enthusiasm & commitment to the early childhood sector. **Salary**: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Child care assistance - Employee discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Shift work Ability to commute/relocate: - Chatswood, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - Early childhood education: 1 year (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required)
