Jewish Care Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria. **About the role**:
Exciting career opportunities exist for passionate **Disability Support Workers** committed to supporting persons with a disability to live their best life. Based in Caulfield and surrounding suburbs across:

- Daily Living Support
- Respite & Short Term Accommodation
- Disability Houses

**Within your new role**:

- Establish and maintain a supportive environment for people using a person cantered active support model.
- Facilitate and support clients in all aspects of daily living.
- Promote opportunities for skill development and community access.
- Contribute to the plans and outcomes for clients, programs and activities.
- Maintain effective interpersonal communications with clients, colleagues, and family members.
- Regularly update client reports and relevant records.

**What you will bring**:

- Certificate IV in Disability or Certificate III in Individual Support
- Prior experience supporting persons with disability.
- Current Victorian Drivers License and reliable car (Essential)
- Proven understanding of person-centred approach and positive behavior supports.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, work independently and part of a team.
- NDIS Worker Clearance (Essential)
- Working with Children Check WWCC (Essential)
