Energy & Environment, one of Ricardo plc’s five operating business units, is a leader in sustainability consultancy, solving complex environmental challenges through industry-leading analysis, advice and data. We are currently looking for a Consultant to join our Statutory and Strategic Planning team in Melbourne.

**Key responsibilities**
- Assistance in the preparation of reports to Tribunal and Planning Panels.
- Coordinate with other project consultants such as Architects, Project Managers, Urban Designers, Developers, and Government agencies to determine best practice planning outcomes.
- Assist and coordinate with other members of the consulting team in the preparation of project deliverables.
- Work with the greater Ricardo team to deliver a finished product in accordance with service requirements.

**Key competencies and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Urban / Regional Planning.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License.
- Be a proven completer-finisher with the ability to plan and prioritise a range of tasks and effectively work unsupervised.
- Competent working knowledge of MS Office.
- Aptitude to learn new systems.
- Able to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business.
- Have a flexible approach to work activities.
