**Job Description**:
As a Maintenance Technician based in Perth Airport, you will provide service, repairs and improvements for robotic laboratory and sample preparation equipment.

Other responsibilities will be:

- Undertake breakdown and scheduled repairs to automated and manual equipment
- Troubleshoot problems and work together with laboratory staff to achieve long term solutions
- Analyze and identify areas of improvement in the plant and equipment and implement the changes
- Undertake projects to improve the process and reliability of automated systems
- Integrate and implement preventative maintenance schedules to equipment and refine as required
- Document and analyse all work to improve workplace efficiency

**Qualifications**:

- A qualified mechanical fitter with experience in production line/factory process control systems
- Have previous experience with control systems in an industrial environment
- Must have a good understanding of electro-mechanical and automated equipment
- Have strong computer skills and experience in MS Excel
