**The Role**
The Families and Young People Services Team currently have a vacancy for a Permanent Full-time Case Worker, Assessment & Service Connect (ASC) to join the team in supporting the Ipswich Region.
**To be eligible for this position you will require (Key Selection Criteria)**:
- 3- or 4-year tertiary qualification in Child Protection, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related discipline
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Queensland Child Protection System, including key tertiary and secondary services, how these interact, the common frameworks and tools that sit across these (including DFV) and other Government and non-Government agencies
- Demonstrated experience working confidently and effectively across a range of service providers, both government and non-government, to negotiate high quality service provision to families experiencing multiple and complex issues that place children and young people at risk of harm
- Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or above Driver’s License.
- Hold a positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and the ability to obtain positive Police Check and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required
- Evidence of current vaccination against whooping cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

This position offers a competitive annual salary of $67,263 to $83,486 plus superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience). You will also have the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing and other benefits.
