EZPZ Care is looking for an exceptional Disability Support Worker on a casual basis to join our team based in Ipswich and Northern Suburbs, reporting to the Support Facilitator.

We are looking for someone with a WIDE availability including afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with the daily care of clients, this may including showering, dressing and toileting.
- Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning, food preparation, attending appointments and shopping
- Train clients to care for themselves and educate family members
- Perform administrative duties such as case notes, completing compliance documents and reporting.
- Assist specialists and carers to determine the needs and wellbeing of the client
- Improve wellbeing and independence of clients
- Use your initiative and creativity to come up with unique and exciting ways to engage with and inspire our participants l

**MUST HAVE Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Yellow Card (NDIS Workers Check)
- Blue Card (Working with Children)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- First Aid (within last 2 years)
- CPR (withing last 12 months) Open Drivers Licence & Vehicle
- Full Comprehensive Insurance
- Fully functioning mobile phone for recording case notes and completing documents

**DESIRABLE Skills**
- Flexible availability
- Experience working with or lived experience with a range of disabilities
- Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or other relevant qualifications

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

Schedule:

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (within 2 years) (required)

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
