**Job Summary**:
The Perioperative and Critical Care Specialist is responsible for selling Masimo’s solution portfolio in critical care and operating rooms regionally. This includes the Root platform with Sedline, O3, SpHb via the Radical 7 and the LidCo non-invasive cardiac output monitoring solution soon to be released. Moreover, the CCSMS is responsible for developing strategic relationships with a variety of clinical leaders in targeted hospitals. This position is a proactive member of the sales team that will facilitate securing new business and growing existing business in their assigned Region.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Utilize Masimo’s established sales process to sell the critical care and surgical solution portfolio to existing customers and convert competitive accounts to Masimo critical care and surgical solutions;
- Conduct demonstrations and evaluations;
- Conduct Presentations that discuss Masimo’s value proposition;
- Drives solution sales in assigned Masimo territory for
- Surgical
- Critical Care
- Other solution portfolio as needed
- Actively be able to articulate information in improving patient outcomes and reducing the cost of care regarding critical care and surgical solution;
- Collaborates with Masimo Team Members, where team selling is appropriate, and provides critical information to marketing and upper management including market trends and competitive activity;
- Maintains high skill level in Strategic and Tactical selling skills;
- Organizes and conducts user seminars on the compelling needs and benefits of Masimo’s solutions;
- Must be able to articulate value of Masimo solution across the ecosystem;
- Create and maintain CRM database of key account information including key account profiles with updates on:

- current status and next steps in establishing targeted VCCCs
- list of sales opportunities with a realistic sales forecast data
- Must be able to travel and stay away overnight;
- Performs special projects as requested.

**Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 2+ years medical device sales experience, critical care and/or surgical preferred, with a track record of exceeding quota
- 2+ years hospital sales experience
- Formal training or studies in art of selling
- Demonstrated, quantifiable sales ability
- Team Player
- Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and exceptional ability to lead group presentations
- Successful history managing customer interactions, with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Travel and overnight stays are required, as well as a valid driver’s license

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Background knowledge of Hospital IT and EMR connectivity a plus
- Background knowledge of selling in the hospital environment a plus

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Physical requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works outside of a traditional office environment, making frequent customer sales calls on a daily basis. Must be able to travel extensively (both domestically and locally), so the ability to travel by air and operate a motor vehicle is required. Must have a valid Driver’s license with a driving record that meets company’s insurance requirements. It also requires frequent driving, sitting, standing and walking. May stand for extended periods when facilitating customer meetings or walking in the facilities. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.
