**THE ROLE**

The Practice Adviser undertakes a range of projects and activities to support the delivery of practice change to frontline public housing through analysis of issues and preparation of practice resources and other operational guidance. The role requires a working knowledge of the social housing operational environment and the applicable legislative frameworks, as well as possessing well developed written and communication skills needed for the preparation of briefs, practice resources and other correspondence.
- The incumbent will be required to work with other teams, divisions and external agencies to ensure that outputs support the organisational objectives of the Office of Professional Practice.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Contribute to the detailed advice, recommendations and program options and solutions of complex and sensitive issues arising from housing operations and prepare practice initiatives that meet the strategic directions for managing and delivering high-quality services.
- Manage and/or support projects relating to the housing portfolio and OPP Strategic Plan to meet departmental objectives as they relate to the housing portfolio.
- Interpret and support the implementation and delivery of practical and policy initiatives by building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach. This includes representing the department and OPP on internal and external committees and meetings as required.
