**About the role**:
We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to complement and strengthen our transport operations. This role provides an existing opportunity for the right individual to work within a dynamic operations team, continuing to grow an already high-performing operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
**Reporting & Analytics**: Generate, interpret and deliver clear, insightful performance reports
Build and maintain pricing models for new and existing customers, provision of internal & external; freight rates (incl. tender response).
Analyse customer profitability and identify areas of revenue leakage or out-of-scope service delivery
Identify areas where we can reduce costs, improve service, or expand our transport capabilities
Support fleet procurement team in identifying opportunities to increase performance and reduce costs
Review 3PL contracts to identify and mitigate risks, engaging directly with key stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of requirements
**The successful applicant will require**:
Previous experience in the fuel industry is an advantage
Demonstrated experience in the operations, transport &/or logistics industries
Experience / knowledge of Heavy Vehicle design and NHVR compliance and Performance Based standards (PBS) will be an advantage.
Understanding of cost base and key expense drivers to operating an efficient fleet & supply chain
Strong proficiency in Excel and confident using Power BI (or similar) reporting
Excellent communication, time management and relationship management skills
Results-driven and passionate about improving operational efficiency
