**Job Type**: Permanent Full Time

Industry: Agriculture / Grain

**About Us**

JSM began in 2013 in Goondiwindi, Queensland. In 2015, drought conditions prompted our move to Brisbane, where we secured a key logistics contract with a Swedish company, still a valued partner today. Brisbane became a hub for growth, and as drought intensified in the west, we adapted by importing feed grains and securing contracts with major agricultural importers and exporters. We now handle a significant share of bulk vessel logistics through the Port of Brisbane.

At JSM Bulk Carriers, we’re passionate about delivering high-quality agricultural products through a streamlined and reliable supply chain.

We’re now looking for a **Data Analyst (Agri Weighbridge Operations)** to join our team and help optimise the way we manage grain receivals, vehicle movements, and weighbridge operations. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your data analysis skills and make a tangible impact on our operations.

**About the Role**

The Data Analyst (Agri Weighbridge Operations) is responsible for managing and analysing large volumes of agricultural data, focusing on grain movements, vehicle weights and receival/delivery schedules. You will use specialised software and data analysis tools to ensure the accuracy of operational data, identify inefficiencies and generate insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement within our supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect, validate, and process data related to grain logistics and vehicle weights.
- Analyse trends in grain flow, vehicle turnaround times, and storage utilisation to optimise logistics.
- Develop reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, PowerBI and Agrichain to communicate findings.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to ensure operational accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal operation teams to improve data systems and streamline processes.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

**Skills & Experience Required**

Essential:

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Agriculture, Business Intelligence or other related field.
- Experience working with large datasets, preferably in the agricultural, logistics or supply chain sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL and experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI).
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable:

- Experience with weighbridge software, Agrichain or related commodity tracking.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data automation is a plus.

**Why Work With Us?**
- Competitive Salary.
- Career Growth: Opportunities to expand your skills in data analysis and agricultural logistics.
- Collaborative Team: Work with a dedicated and supportive team to achieve operational excellence.
