Casual Sales Assistant

We’re looking for an experienced and savvy retail team member who can uphold the legacy of our heritage SALCO outlet store and play a pivotal role in representing our brands and connecting with our loyal and long term VIPS & customers.

You’re a confident and capable retail all-rounder with a natural ability to connect with people. You bring energy, and a hands-on style to all aspects of the role.

The role requires an enthusiastic team player who is customer focused and maintains updated product knowledge. They can assist across all Store functions including store presentation, stock management, point of sale processes with a high attention to detail.

**Planned Start Date**: ASAP - Approx 15 hours per week (full weekend availability crucial)

**Salary**: From 32.06 per hour for an adult 21 years of age or above who works Monday - Friday. There are variants and state-based penalties and additional overlays where that team member performs exceptional / additional duties within their role.

**Key Objectives**

**Sales Outcomes and Customer Experience**
- Assist in achieving financial objectives for the store as well as personal targets
- Participate in cultivating a warm and welcoming environment for the customer
- Provide expert, helpful, and respectful customer service
- Assist in developing strategies for maximising foot traffic and VIP interactions

**Operational Integrity**
- Adhere to security measures, processes, and procedures
- Assist in communicating all safety, security, and maintenance Issues
- Adhere to all WorkSafe and OHS Practices
- Closely follow all processes and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual

**People and Culture**
- Participate in developing enthusiastic and professional sales team
- Communicate and report clearly, with follow up

**Stock Management**
- Adhere to set processes and procedures as they relate to stock deliveries
- Assist in organising and maintaining stock in the reserve and storage
- Assist with cyclical counts on a regular basis, adhering to set reporting processes
- Participate in preparing the Weekly Report, feeding back meaningful insights and store requirements
- Adhere to accurate ticketing and tagging of product

**Visual Merchandising**
- Assist in executing all visual merchandising, including decals and in-store signage, adhering to layout, presentation, and seasonal themes as per Gant Global Merchandising Standards
