The primary responsibility of a Waiter/Waitress is to provide our customers with an excellent dining experience comprised of great food, coffee, beverages, service and atmosphere. The goal of this experience is to influence our guests to want to come back time and time again. Alongside this, contribute to the team in a positive and professional manner to create a harmonious working environment focused on achieving this exceptional customer experience, the business mission and objectives.

**In addition to the above, your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Hold excellent product knowledge about each item for sale in the venue
- Have a full working knowledge of all front-of-house systems and processes in the venue
- Ensure professional and efficient communication with all team members and guests
- Ensure the highest levels of food and workplace safety are adhered to
- Maximise sales at all opportunities
- Maintain and oversee a section of tables and guests in the venue
- Participate with the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as directed by your supervisor or manager
- Participate in the daily setup and pack down procedures in an efficient and effective manner

- RSA

**Experience**:

- One year of experience in a similar role

**PERFORMANCE GOALS**:
Performance in this role will be assessed over several areas and will be a combination of venue manager and peer observations, performance appraisals, customer feedback, team feedback and key performance indicators.

These may include:

- Sales data
- Customer feedback gained internally
- External customer feedback
- Management and director dining reviews
- Mystery diner reports
- Service report information
- Cleanliness and safety of the venue
- Annual, bi-annual or quarterly appraisals
- Written warnings

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: $26.73 - $29.40 per hour
