**About the role**

You will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support for AE’s information systems and data analysis needs. Reporting to the Head of Quality Audit and collaborating closely with the Senior Management, Academic department, administrative staff, and IT personnel, you will work to ensure that the overall quality assurance and data systems are maintained at AE.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Manage and oversee the administration of the student management system (SMS) for all AE students and staff
- Coordinate with external vendors to develop existing systems and processes.
- Production of external and internal management reporting against key metrics data i.e., student progression, retention, completion rate, attrition etc.
- Complete regulator reporting for all HE and VET in compliance to data reporting requirements and timelines.
- Monitor and report in compliance to policies for course progress, attendance monitoring, non-payment, non-commencement, non-payment, and non-returning students and correspond with Academic, Finance and Student Support teams to monitor progress for students.

About You
- Bachelor of Computer Science, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in data management, including expertise in student management systems such as RTO Meshed, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Meticulous and accurate approach to data categorisation, storage, and disposal
- Strong communication skills, with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Organisational skills in managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability to evolving regulatory requirements & relevant technological advancements
- Relevant certification in data management or a related field (Desirable)
- Industry Knowledge - Familiarity with the regulatory landscape of the education sector and related data management requirements (Desirable)
