Our venue is a premium coastal dining destination blending relaxed beachside charm with contemporary sophistication. We showcase the finest local seafood and premium meats, infused with Japanese-inspired techniques and a strong emphasis on sustainability and quality. As the first point of contact for our guests, our **Host/Hostess**plays a key role in setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

**The Role**:
As our Host / Hostess you will:

- Warmly welcome and greet arriving guests and manage reservations / walk-in flow.
- Seat guests with attention to detail (e.g., special occasions, dietary requests, preferences).
- Maintain the appearance of the waiting/lounge areas (including menus, water stations, waiting lists).
- Coordinate with the front of house team (servers, bar, kitchen) to ensure guests are attended to promptly.
- Answer phone enquiries, assist with bookings, changes and guest questions.
- Support during peak periods to ensure smooth guest arrival, turnover and service starts.
- Occasionally assist with light administrative tasks (e.g., updating reservation system, guest notes).

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A friendly, polished and professional approach
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
- Ability to remain composed and organised in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Good team player skills
- Experience in hospitality, at host/guest-relations or front-of-house roles is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, as required.
- A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate and full working rights in Australia.

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
