Internal Sales Representative

An exciting opportunity has become available for a experienced Sales Assistant in plumbing supplies. You will be working for a reputable, well established manufacturing company located in Sydney's south, offering excellent working conditions. Initially employed as a casual staff member, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and to become a permanent employee after the qualifying period. Position also offers a competitive above award hourly rate, with overtime.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Assist customers with plumbing product selection and purchasing
- Process sales orders and returns in a timely and efficient manner
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service
- Take phone enquiries.
- Provide plumbing knowledge and expertise to customers
- Collaborate with internal sales team
- Keep up-to-date with plumbing product knowledge and industry trends
- Ensure housekeeping standards are meet.

**Experience and requirements**:

- Plumbing knowledge is a must
- Retail sales experience, within Building and Home Improvement, advantageous.
- Neat and tidy appearance, a bright, cheerful personality and pleasant telephone manner.
- Computer literate.
- Experience with POS, cash, computer and credit card transactions.
- Willingness to work on Saturdays (when required)
