**About the role**:
We are currently looking for a security screen manufacturer to join our team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of security screens and related products. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience using hand tools and who has a strong work ethic. The right person would be physically fit without limitations as there is manual handling involved.

Whilst training will be provided, previous manufacturing experience would be an advantage

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assembling flyscreens, diamond grille screens & Crimsafe, that are made to measure.
- Using a Pneumatic bench press to assemble
- Using drop saws, hand and power tools in a safe & controlled manner
- Manual handling of aluminium extrusions that are up to 6.5m in length
- Unloading trucks manually or using our forklift
- Putting stock away
- Being responsible for a clean work station & work environment.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience using hand tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail
- Screen manufacturing experience is a bonus
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential

**Additional Information**:

- No weekend or public holiday work required
- Business closes for 2 weeks over the Christmas holiday period

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- screen assembly: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

- Australia (required)
