**The Company**
This is a global, market leading, privately owned, industrial distribution organisation that has undergone significant growth both organically and through acquisition in recent years. They are continuing to develop and execute their growth strategy, which has resulted in a need to develop a best-in-class supply chain across their APAC operation. Working closely with the Supply Chain Director, this person will manage a sustainable reform across the companies supply chain.
**The Role**
Key responsibilities for the position will include:
- Be responsible for developing and leading the new planning processes of the business.
- Provide demand and supply planning expertise to the companies supply and operations teams, providing high quality and valuable outcomes whilst being accountable for the successful implementation of new product introductions, promotions, and product deductions.
- Play a crucial part in the companies implementation of their ERP system.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasting tools for the business, working closely with Sales and Category Management to ensure integration into the APAC business.
- Lead the development of inventory policies including stock level accuracy and purchase plan optimisation.
- Be a key member, working alongside marketing, sales and technical teams to drive the launch of NPD across all business units.
**Your Background**
To be suitable for this position, you should meet the below criteria:
- 3-5 years’ experience in demand and inventory planning.
- Sound knowledge of Demand and Supply metrics, key levels, process, and tools.
- Strong analytics, data processing and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, ERP - Pronto, Power BI)
- Track record of Influencing & engaging of key stakeholder to deliver improved performance
- Proven experience in a high SKU environment, distribution or wholesale setting.
- Tertiary qualified in supply chain, marketing or sales; APICS certified a bonus.
