WHY YOU WILL BE EXCITED ABOUT THIS ROLE

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician with A Grade Australian Electrical Licence and mechanical aptitude to provide outstanding service for our customer site located in Brooklyn, Melbourne.

This will involve servicing our customer’s equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. This role offers excellent exposure to the latest systems and technologies.
- This role is a permanent night shift position
- Monday to Friday, 9pm to 5am

This role is well remunerated with applicable shift penalties applied.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**ABOUT YOU - WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- **Australian Trade Electrical qualification with Certificate III - Electrotechnology**:

- Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience in previous roles
- Any PLC experience is highly regarded
- Experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Computerised maintenance systems experience (MEX) is ideal
- Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Understanding of WHS requirements and safe work behaviour
- Ability to work in isolation and make decisions
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers
- Licenses and certificates for Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and First Aid
