**The Role**

Leading and making decision, this role fronts the customer engagement for a team of Technicians, advising and ensuring timelines are met
- Champion the daily customer service planning, setting client expectation as you liaise and book with technicians
- Consult to your client on scope of work at hand, evaluating and setting plans for services
- Oversees daily service planning and execution
- Ensure daily work allocation to Service Technicians are adequately and fairly distributed to the team
- Ensures customer problems are attended to promptly and solutions are provided in a timely manner
- Manage the complete operations of the allocated sites, workshop and machines
- Ensure KPI’s are met in terms of utilisation, efficiency, overheads, costs etc.
- Ensure execution of quality and timelines
- Book and consult future maintenance plans,
- Liaise with Team regarding long term maintenance forecasting and bookings.
- Report and safeguard customer satisfaction, quality of work, timely service, costs,
- Update customers on work progress, work schedules, resources, materials / components requirements, safety and risks.
- Keeping abreast of customers’ installed base and service opportunities in the area
- Ensure that customer machines are back in operations within the specific time as per KPI’s agreed

**The Essentials**
- Ideally experience within a mechanical, electrical engineering or related area or exposure to a heavy-machinery maintenance environment.
- Ability to plan efficient service execution competencies
- Proven customer communication skills proving empathic, structured, service minded,
- Customer-oriented relationship building
- Able to display leadership as a team player, working to policy and timelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to deal with all stakeholders in the business)
- ERP system savvy - SAP highly regarded
