**Description**:
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager - People and Culture, you will be responsible for end to end management of the employee life cycle including leading the best practice recruitment and induction for the organisation, ensuring that CRCS continues to attract and employ talented and committed individuals. You will also develop and manage a highly engaged and committed workforce through the provision of systematic, coordinated services across each Program and implementation of effective human resources frameworks, policies, and procedures to support CRCS goals.
At CRCS, our People and Culture practice look at how we work with clients to resolve immediate issues, but also how we build plans and strategies to shape our future. You will bring demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills which enable you to work in teams to solve complex People and Culture issues. You will have a professional focus, a participant-centric approach, and the ability to use your judgement when balancing the circumstances of an employee, the needs of a program area and workforce policies and legislation.
You will bring empathy and tact to your communications with stakeholders, and will be able to remain focused and clear in complex conversations. Your written communication will be clear, well structured, and you will have the ability to focus attention on key points.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- HR qualifications or an AHRI Practicing Certificate would be well-regarded
- Demonstrated experience in general HR along with recruitment and selection processes preferably in community based organisation
- Demonstrated experience supporting leaders around performance coaching and misconduct.
- Demonstrated experience working with HR Systems preferably ELMO.
- A strong customer service focus and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to prioritise and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**CRCS also requires all employees to**:
- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
