**The Opportunity**

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure and Fulton Hogan are jointly recruiting for the West Region Delivery Team on the Sydney Water Partnering for Success program.

We have an exciting vacancy for an experienced **Traffic Field Supervisor** to join our collaborative delivery team. You will ideally be able to commence as soon as possible.

**You will be Responsible for**

You will oversee and manage a variety of West Region Delivery Team (Sydney Water) projects across the western Sydney area whilst forging a culture of safety and productivity. The role will be responsible for the direct supervision of traffic controllers in addition to assisting with a wide range of strategic safety and operational objectives including:

- People management
- Safety performance
- Injury management
- Incident investigation
- Training and development
- Fleet and equipment management
- Oversee and manage the safe and compliant delivery of traffic management services
- Guide traffic controllers to achieve safe work practices that align with company policies and procedures, legislative obligations and industry best practice
- Incident Investigation and management
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to manage and diffuse conflict.
- Promote and display an excellent team environment
- Carry out regular inspections and audits of the traffic management onsite to ensure that they are effective
- Amending and updating traffic plans, as required, to ensure that they remain current as the work progresses
- Identifying situations where traffic management could be improved onsite
- Recording and reporting.
- Upskilling and training traffic controllers and team leaders.

**What you will need**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Traffic Management
- Good leadership skills in a fast paced environment
- Experience on TfNSW and RMS Sites
- Must hold current “Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan” and other traffic qualifications
- Driver’s license
- Strong people management skills.
- Safety focused and driven
- You need to be reliable, flexible and well presented
- Strong communication skills
