And we are now looking for our newest Animal Attendant Lead to join our team at ABBA Boarding Kennels & Cattery.

This role forms part of the site leadership team and therefore is pivotal to the effective operations, exceptional pet care and customer relations of our boarding sites. You will support the Manager and Assistant Manager to lead the team to provide the best-in-industry care.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Contribute to and supervise the process of feeds, cleans, medications, activities, and social play
- Effectively plan and delegate tasks on a daily basis to team members
- Review run allocation of pets on a consistent bases and adjust accordingly to minimise negative dog behaviours
- Ensure our teams are delivering on the pupdates, activities and add-ons that means we provide the best service and care in market
- Daily observations of team operations and site to ensure we are delivering on our service and standards model
- Provide positive and constructive feedback of performance to team on a daily basis to build a high-performance culture
- Assist site manager with the training and development of team members
- Respond to any pet health issues with urgency
- Promptly provide pet health updates to owners in a clear, concise, and effective way in line with our processes

**Experience/Skills**:

- Previous paid animal husbandry experience is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service
- Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail
- A can-do attitude, initiative to get extra work done
- Quick learner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure
- Having great time management, and commitment to deliver quality in work output
- Competent with computer systems with advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

**Key requirements**:

- Must have current drivers licence & vehicle access
- Must be available 7 days a week including weekends and will be rostered on over holidays & Christmas period
