**About the Role**

We are seeking enthusiastic Disability Support Worker for a SIL home to join our team in Ashfield, WA. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and engage with their local community.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote client wellbeing and community inclusion
- Advocate for client rights and ensure their needs are met with dignity and respect
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Collaborate with allied health professionals to develop and implement client-centred support plans
- Provide a safe and secure environment for clients

**What We're Looking For**
- A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or an equivalent qualification in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services
- Demonstrated experience providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
- A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence
- A strong commitment to upholding the values of LivEasy Care' and promoting client independence and inclusion

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Worker: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 06/01/2025
