**The Role**:
Working closely with the Surveyor-General, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Manager Survey Operations to join our dedicated Office of the Surveyor-General team to lead the operational and strategic delivery of survey services across South Australia. This role reports directly to the Surveyor-General and will see you responsible for providing leadership to a multidisciplinary team, overseeing performance, driving culture, managing risk, and implementing workforce planning and professional development strategies aligned to the State’s surveying objectives**.**

**About You**:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:

- Proven ability to lead and manage technical and professional staff in a complex service delivery environment.
- Strong strategic thinking with experience delivering change and risk management initiatives.
- High-level stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly in complex or sensitive contexts.
- Expertise in surveying, including national developments, risk mitigation, and workforce capability planning.
- Demonstrated experience driving cultural initiatives and building safe, inclusive workplaces.

**Essential Qualification**:
Tertiary qualifications in surveying or a related field**.**

Licensed Surveyor under the Survey Act 1992 (desirable)**.**

**Special Conditions**

Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years**.**

**Remuneration**:
ASO8 - $121,107 - $125,679.
