
Manager, Compliance and Reporting

- Provide authoritative and strategic advice in relation to best practice compliance practices under the Disability Services Act 2006.- Develop and implement a proactive compliance strategy including referral, investigation and assessment procedures for worker screening aligned with DSC's approved compliance framework.- Develop and publish outward-facing educational information and resources that support the compliance strategy and ensure the material is kept current and made available on the program's website.- Develop and implement technological solutions to strengthen and streamline operations and improve reporting capability.- Apply superior analytical skills to data, take responsibility for reporting on the program's functions and develop recommendations for actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.- Prepare high-quality briefs, reports and other documents for the Director to meet the program's corporate and strategic obligations.- Promote the worker screening system as a key risk management and safeguard tool. - Plan, organise and manage the team's responsibilities, including fostering a professional environment to encourage commitment, ethical behaviour, staff wellbeing, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement.- Actively contribute to the strategic management of the program as a member of the management team and participate in key governance groups as required.- Ensure the team maintains accurate records and complies with departmental record-keeping, privacy and confidentiality requirements.- Build and sustain positive relationships through effective communication with team members, clients, stakeholders and private sector entities by anticipating and being responsive to client and stakeholder needs and expectations.- Undertake other tasks and activities as requested by the Director, Worker Screening.
