Working in the newly formed specialist Transfers Team, your main function is to support the wider business operations through successfully transferring UK pensions to Australia on behalf of clients
You will work closely with providers in both the UK and Australia, as well as internal departments to ensure the swift and safe delivery of clients’ funds to Australia. You’ll regularly speak to clients throughout their entire transfer journey, building positive rapport and long-lasting relationships.
As a member of the Transfers Team, you will play a key part in the overall performance of bdhSterling.
**The Transfers Administrator will be responsible for, although not limited to, the following tasks**:
- Preparing pension transfer paperwork for clients
- Implementing pension transfer paperwork with providers
- Arranging and checking pension benefit requests to pension providers
- Meeting and greeting clients to sign paperwork, or, assisting clients via video meetings
- Chasing pension transfers from ceding schemes in the UK
- Preparing calculations for pension transfers
- Arranging disinvestments on behalf of clients
- Obtaining instructions to purchase currency from clients
- Updating clients throughout the transfer process
- Confirming receipt of payments at schemes on behalf of clients
- Ensuring investments are underway for ongoing clients
- Managing and building relationships with service providers and clients
- Updating and maintaining the client databases
- Assisting the Manager with ad-hoc tasks
