**Underwriter - Specialty Liability**

A core business unit within Aon Risk Solutions, One Underwriting is an evolving and expanding underwriting agency, providing insurance and risk management solutions to our national network of general insurance brokers. One Underwriting is recognised as a leader in providing, hospitality and specialty insurance products to the Australian market.

We’re looking to appoint an experienced Underwriter to support the team, enabling us to continue growing our team and helping the business achieve its financial targets. As a part of the Specialities team, you will work across a wide range of product lines including Security Liability, Licensed Clubs, Council Liability, Cyber Insurance and Legal Expenses Insurance.

**What the day will look like**
- Underwriting of new business, renewals and endorsements
- Ensuring that client insurance and risk management needs are fully met
- Distributing quotes, finalising schedules and management of bordereau
- Managing relationships with intermediaries and key stakeholders
- Preparing and executing policy documentation for clients
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Previous experience as an Underwriter in the general insurance industry
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-service focus, with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work to strict deadlines with mínimal supervision, while juggling a wide variety of responsibilities
- Ability to quickly learn and understand technical matters
- Excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate level skills in Excel
- Tier 1 qualification desirable
