By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of light rail stops.

**The role**
- Working closely with the Assets team the Technical Trainer will be responsible for the design & delivery of technical training modules. This will include developing training needs based on role disciplines / competencies and reviewing the original equipment manufacturers technical documents in line with our requirements. Based at the depot in Camellia you will focus on delivering training to the newly recruited maintenance teams. Ongoing you will be responsible for delivering specific / targeted training programs in response to skills shortages and gaps.

**What you bring**
- In addition to your Cert IV Training & Assessment your background will include experience working in a similar role (transportation / rail industry preferred). This will include experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs preferably for an Operator and Maintainer. Equally important will be your well-developed communication, writing and facilitation skills supported by a sound knowledge of contemporary learning and training practices. Essential to your success will be the ability to work to tight deadlines as you support the business during operational readiness phase to first passenger services and beyond.
