About the Role

We currently have exciting opportunity for motivated and experienced industrial Mechanical Technicians to join our residential customer service team in the Port of Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities- Work amongst our residential customer service team providing sound mechanical and relevant electrical expertise to the customers fully automated distribution system in the Port of Brisbane.- Provide expertise in contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown servicesThis is a permanent rotating shift position whereby there are rotational 12-hour day and night shifts to support operations where required, averaging 40 hours per week. This is an attractive lifestyle roster. You will need to be flexible to work some overtime as required where you will be eligible for additional wages/overtime.

About You - What We Are Looking For

You will have the following essential requirements:
- Australian Electrical Trade Licence or Mechanical Fitter Trade with Restricted Electrical Licence- Current driver’s license- Ability to work autonomously, solve problems quickly and be results driven- Strong safety focus including understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices- Strong customer focus and excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills- Great team player who is able to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective relationships- Flexibility to work overtime and a rotating roster

The following will also be highly regarded:
- PLC experience in Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC- Experience working with automation and material handling equipment (e.g. conveyors)- Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS) and pneumatic systems- Licenses and certificates for Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and First Aid
