Assessing Support Officer

**The role**

As an Assessing Support Officer, you will handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth vehicle damage assessments, aiming to reduce claims duration and enhance customer service. Your role involves:

- Delivering top-notch customer service and adhering to HiYA compliance.
- Collaborating with assessors, repairers, towing companies, and stakeholders to improve claim timeliness.
- Maintaining proactive communication with customers about their vehicle repair status.
- Advising customers to support their decisions on repairs or total loss resolutions.
- Facilitating rebooking and guiding customers through our network.
- Addressing and escalating customer complaints as needed.
- Managing repairer services and all administrative activities from booking to assessment authorization.Your role is key in ensuring efficient processes and excellent customer experience

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Highly developed verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholder outcomes, accompanied with strong written communication skills.
- Previous experience working in the Insurance industry, with demonstrated strong customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills with previous experience working with industry specific programs, or the ability to quickly learn the necessary systems.
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage workload, with the ability to adapt to unexpected demands as necessary.
- Team player who thrives on providing positive support to colleagues and contributing to the broader organizational goals.
- Demonstrated professional approach to work.Well developed and demonstrated understanding of the legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations to operate in the FSR environment
