**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic male Support Worker to join our team within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) industry. This role requires a compassionate, motivated, and active individual who is prepared to engage in activities with clients and promote inclusion within their community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support to individuals with ASD, ADHD, and mental health conditions, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other health professionals.
- Actively engage clients in a variety of recreational, social, and community activities to promote independence and social inclusion.
- Support individuals with complex behaviours using behaviour management strategies and techniques.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment, ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of clients at all times
- Document client progress, behaviours, and incidents accurately in accordance with organizational policies and NDIS requirements.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay up to date with NDIS guidelines, and best practices in disability support.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Support Worker or in a related role, working with individuals with ASD, ADHD, and mental health challenges
- Ability to engage clients in meaningful activities and assist them in their participation within the community.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Energetic, motivated, and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others.
- A strong understanding of the NDIS framework and individual care plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, Mental Health, or related fields (Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent).

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in recruitment within the disability and/or aged care sectors.
- Knowledge of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) or aged care standards and frameworks.
- Experience in recruitment for diverse roles, from care staff to specialized health professionals.
- Familiarity with diversity and inclusion recruitment practices.

**Schedule**:
Flexible shifts to suit your availability:

- 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts.
- Morning, afternoon, evening, and night shifts.
- Weekday, weekend, and rotating rosters.
- Public holiday and overtime shifts with penalty rates.

Pay: $24.08 - $53.30 per hour
