**The Role**

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by:

- **Providing Personal Care Assistance**: Assisting clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- **Supporting Community Participation**: Helping clients engage in social and recreational activities, access appointments, and navigate their communities.
- **Implementing Individualized Support Plans**: Collaborating with clients and their families to develop and follow tailored plans that promote independence and achieve personal goals.
- **Household Support**: Light domestic duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- **Emotional Support and Companionship**: Building positive relationships with clients and providing encouragement and a listening ear.

**Requirements**:

- **Essential**:

- **Current and valid driver's license with a clean record and demonstrably good driving skills**:

- **Current car license insurance policy**:

- **Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent, or willingness to obtain**:

- **Clearances**: Current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check.
- **Desirable**:

- Previous experience in disability support or a related field.
- **Qualities**:

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
