**Your new company**

You will be working for an established company that own and operate electrical utilities here in Melbourne. Being highly innovative company, they are constantly looking to improve their efficiency and move forward to renewables. To keep up with the demand of the industry, they are seeking a Project Scheduler/Project Controller to join their close-knit team. They understand the value of their workers and therefore support their development and accept differences. This amazing company has a beautiful office in the Melbourne CBD office for when the team wants to work more collaborative together, that being said they have fully adapted the working from home lifestyle and are very flexible when it comes to individual preferences.

**Your new role**

In your new role as a Project Scheduler your main responsibility is to provide scheduling and controls support to major electrical infrastructure delivery program. Your key responsibilities will include developing, integrating, maintaining, updating, and controlling the project schedule as per guidelines and best practices. Also, you will provide integrated resource modelling, forecasting, and planning for projects throughout the lifecycle of the project. As you work alongside with Project Managers you are expected to attend the project meetings, prepare weekly and monthly reports of the projects, and maintain the risk register for the projects.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, or Project Management
- Ideally 5 years of project scheduling experience in delivery of major projects
- Expert level competency of using scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 (mandatory), and MS Projects (Mandatory.)
- Professional certifications such as PMI-SP, AIPM or AACE PSP etc. are nice to have
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and risk analysis tools is advantageous.
- Proven communication skills, experience in external and internal stakeholder management.
- Sound understanding of project management practices.
