The roles will build strategic stakeholder relationships and act as the single point of contact for cyber security to the business areas. They will enable effective and efficient delivery of cyber security services and appropriate management of cyber risks aligned with the Business and Cluster CISO strategies.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Acting as the face of cyber security to the business, facilitates engagement of stakeholders, and delivery of cyber services.
- Develop tailored cyber strategies and approaches for lines of business which are aligned and integrated with the DCS cyber strategy.
- Build strong strategic relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure that CISO services are fit-for-purpose.
- Produce tailored risk and control reporting for business areas and present relevant artefacts to senior stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to business functions to ensure security is incorporated early and effectively in programs, projects and initiatives.
- Lead the adoption of new or enhanced cyber services and supporting processes to ensure delivery of high-quality user experience for the business areas.
- Identify business specific training needs and facilitates sessions to raise awareness and enhance the cyber culture.
**About you**:
- Experience engaging with technology and business leaders to discuss cyber security in business terms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop or contribute to cyber strategies to meet business needs, address contemporary threats and align to existing business strategies.
- At least 5 years' experience in cyber security risk, governance, architecture, compliance, and/or technology domains.
- Experience acting as a point of escalation for cyber security incidents is desirable.
- Excellent engagement and presentation skills is a must.
- A collaborative team player who can work with technical and non-technical teams to ensure risk, audit and compliance activities are designed and operated effectively.
- Experience with Cyber Security standards and frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISM, or the NSW Cyber Security Policy (CSP) would be beneficial.

***What we need from you**:
Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $131,094 base plus superannuation
