A true market leader in the industrial sector our client specialize in the production of labelling and coding machinery and equipment. They pride themselves of a high level of product quality and service and have been servicing the Australian manufacturing industry since the 1980's. Our client is R&D led and their aim is to provide their customers with the best quality products in our industry, that are only rivaled by the excellence of their service offering.
Their design and production capabilities allow them to custom build a fast, reliable and robust labelling and coding solution to suit their customers production processes. Their machines and equipment are well-renowned for their longevity and efficiency. Combined with a service and maintenance offering that is second to none, puts them well in command as a true market leader.
**The Role**
As the Sales Consultant, you will be looking after the northern, west and east Melbourne patch for the company. You will be selling our client’s range of marking and coding capital equipment to end-users (i.e., food and beverage, and industrial manufacturers). Speaking with production managers, engineers, maintenance manager and business owners on a daily basis. Providing them with with technical solution to their problems. This role will have you maintain existing clients whilst hunting for new opportunities. Working closely with the National Sales Manager who will provide you full product training.
- The Most Important Thing: Technical Sales experience selling capital equipment such as printers, machinery, lifting systems, warehouse racking, power tools, and other big ticket items.
- It will also be advantageous if you have experience dealing with food and beverage manufacturers and/or industrial end-users.
- In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone with a team player mentality, solution sales approach and the ability to build strong relationships.
