As a Student Communications Officer, you will be at the forefront of creating and delivering impactful communications and engagement activities that resonate with our diverse student body and stakeholders. Your creativity and strategic thinking will shine as you collaborate with key partners to design and implement campaigns that truly make a difference.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and coordinate engaging student events, captivating videos, and compelling digital content.
- Craft clear and concise website copy that resonates with our students, ensuring accessible and plain English content.
- Contribute to the creation of a comprehensive student communications and engagement strategy, driving the success of associated campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze communication performance to identify effective strategies and areas for improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with student advisory groups, external partners, and suppliers to ensure seamless alignment in communication activities.
- Contribute to the development of student engagement events and initiatives throughout the academic calendar.
- Uphold communication and engagement governance practices, ensuring compliance within the Student Experience Directorate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the creation of high-quality written, visual, and video content across various platforms.
- Assist in the production of internal and external communication products, including newsletters, forums, and presentations.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in content creation, including writing, visual design, and video production.
- Familiarity with communication strategies across digital platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in [relevant tools/software] is a plus.
