Reporting to: Arana Hills Church of Christ Admin Officer. Commencing ASAP.

The role
- General cleaning duties such as cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces in bathrooms and kitchens
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions and mirrors
- Cleaning floors by vacuuming 2 church halls and offices, mopping, sweeping
- Disposing waste from bins (and placing collection bins on curbside on Thursdays)
- Reporting all defects/hazards to the Admin Officer when observed/encountered on the job
- Keep all “kids’ spaces” downstairs clean and disinfected
- Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
- Adhering to building security procedures (including keys and alarms), and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors and windows
- Any other reasonable cleaning duties as directed by the Admin Officer or delegated authority

About you
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery in cleaning soft and hard surfaces. e.g. vacuum cleaners
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised and be mindful of personal safety and security
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
- Able to adapt excellent time management skills
- High attention to detail when cleaning
- Organised and able to follow a schedule
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the cleaning routine, with ability to stand for long periods of time; physically fit and able to use vacuum cleaner for extended period of time
- General knowledge of cleaning products, colour coded equipment and techniques for cleaning

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:
This is a casual role offered on a three-year basis, approval of appointment and extensions rest with the authority of the church membership. (NOTE: The appointment and terms of the role are dictated and managed by the CLC directly).
