We are excited to welcome an experienced Stakeholder Projects and Events Officer to join our dynamic and results-driven team, providing parental leave cover for 12 months starting in December. The Stakeholder Events and Project Officer manages the delivery of key internal and corporate events for the Ministry of Health, including the annual NSW Health Awards and National Sorry Day, and supports the delivery of stakeholder engagement activities, including international delegations.

Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $113,574 - $125,720 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

**What you'll be doing**
As a dedicated Stakeholder Projects and Events Officer, you will:

- Develop and implement detailed project plans for major internal and corporate events, including statewide plans with engagement, development of criteria and online awards judging.
- Coordinate NSW Health nominations within state and national award programs.
- Develop and deliver all end-to-end sponsorship planning and activities relating to the NSW Health Awards, ensuring all requirements are fulfilled as outlined in the NSW Government Sponsorship Policy.
- Identify ways to promote health awards and events internally and externally, including to develop the supporting communications plan and deliverables.
- Manage protocols and related advice to support events.
- Assist with the delivery of corporate support for health tours and meetings by international visitors.
- Assist with developing policy on corporate support for international visits with state-wide agreement on preferred approach.
- Support Ministry of Health branches deliver their own corporate events by way of providing templates, linking them with suppliers and internal contacts to ensure event delivery is seamless.
- Capture analytics, data and sentiment to help inform ways of improvement.

**About you**
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

- Strong experience in delivering large and high-profile events.
- Stakeholder engagement experience, particularly with seeking and managing sponsorship opportunities.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external suppliers.
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
