Early Childhood Educators

Glenorchy City Council is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our teams at our Moonah and Berriedale Early Education & Care Services. **About the Role**
As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll play a vital role in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences, while ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child. You'll be part of a collaborative, professional team that’s making a meaningful difference in the local community.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver high-quality care with a strong focus on safety, health, and wellbeing.
- Design and implement educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Lead and contribute to team discussions on child development, using your expertise to enhance learning outcomes.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment that supports every child’s growth and development.

**What We're Looking For**
We’re seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, nurturing, and ready to make an impact. To be successful, you will have:

- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or be actively working towards one.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
- A collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a deep appreciation for family engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar setting.
- A current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People - Child Related Activity.

**Days and Position Hours are flexible**:Monday to Friday with part-time hours up to 38 hours per week. There are also casual positions available.
