**Design Lead - NSW Government**

Design Lead required by a NSW Government department on an initial contract until EOFY with likely ongoing extensions based in Sydney + Hybrid & paying up to $950 per day + Super.

**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Complete design site surveys & audits, complete flow plans, undertake issues analysis & identify site interfaces
- Prepare design documentation packages including detailed sign requests, message schedules, location plans, sign set-outs, interface schedules, removals schedules & other documentation
- Manage external design contractors to complete design & documentation packages, ensuring compliance
- Provide assistance during implementation phases, to ensure that signs are installed per plans & to assist in the resolution of issues & problems that may arise
- Present design plans to stakeholder groups & represent the Program at site visits, in meetings & in consultation forums

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in information design, industrial design, graphic design, interior design, exhibitions design or urban design
- Project Management experience within a Design discipline is highly desired
- Proven experience working across diverse projects, providing effective design solutions & customer outcomes
- Outstanding communication & stakeholder management skills
