You will play a leading role in the deployment and adoption of AI and automation, leverage cutting-edge technology and innovative strategies to enhance business processes and drive business success. As part of the **Institutional Lending**crew, you will work alongside talented professionals who are passionate about enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will have the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives, engage with key stakeholders, and drive the strategic direction of our platforms, which have been built for business process optimisation using AI data extraction capabilities. Additionally, you will be instrumental in re-engineering and digitising risk processes and controls, ensuring that our risk management practices are not only efficient but also aligned with the latest technological advancements.

**What you’ll do**
- Define and shape the strategic roadmap for Institutional Lending objectives in collaboration with sponsors and business owners.
- Lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective governance, prioritization, resourcing, and oversight.
- Manage a mix of internal and external stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer and translating needs into actionable requirements.
- Oversee end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management, including requirements lifecycle, production deployment, and release coordination.
- Deliver operational risk and issue management, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal policy frameworks.
- Digitise risk processes and controls to boost efficiency and effectiveness in risk management, ensuring alignment with the latest technological advancements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus within the squad, driving agile maturity and effectiveness.
- Manage the squad’s performance against defined objectives, including OKR tracking and backlog prioritization.

**What we’re looking for**
- Significant experience in product ownership, particularly within Institutional Banking or Business Banking.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with senior executives.
- Strong understanding of customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) design principles.
- A forward-looking mindset with curiosity around emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics.
- Experience in managing software delivery and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong cost and risk discipline, with the ability to balance trade-offs effectively.
- Prior experience in institutional banking or related financial services is desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualification in technology, finance, or a related field.
