**About the Role**

Join our team and make a difference in your local Deception Bay community by playing a crucial role in catering to the unique requirements of individuals utilising our Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS). Your mission is to employ a person-centred approach, helping clients to attain their goals and fulfil their support needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assist clients to improve their independence according to their identified needs and goals inclusive of:
In home supports:

- Domestic assistance such as light cleaning and housework
- Assistance with meal preparation
- Skill development
- Personal care

Community Connections supports:

- Social support
- Shopping assistance
- Assist clients to improve their independence in according to their identified needs and goals
- Establish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their family

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar) is required
- An Australian Driver’s Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle
- Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
