**The Role**:
At The NBA Store, our Back of House Stock Controller is the engine room to our operational excellence. You’re a basketball fanatic that understands how and why our product fuels team and player passions for the NBA. You have an urgency to the way you operate as well as an understanding on how to prioritise merchandise, so we are meeting the needs of our loyal customers and casual shoppers alike. Our store team rely on our Stock Controller to ensure we have the right products on the floor for our customers to represent their individualism, team pride and personal style. You are driven by a need for organisation, your system runs as perfectly as a Phil Jackson Triangle Offence, you deliver outstanding controls, you will be the Point Guard to our Store Manager.

**Role & Responsibilities**:
**Stock Control**
- Accept and process all incoming / outgoing stock for NBA Store.
- Preparation of all products ready for shop floor visual merchandising.
- Responsible for the delivery of back of house presentation and organizational standards.
- Responsible for the ordering and control of all store consumables.
- Partnering with Store Management team to efficiently complete markdowns and any product adjustments
- Participate in store maintenance per the current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Dress Code Policy.

**Control Expenses**
- Protect Company assets within guidelines of NBA Store Retail policies.
- Participate in managing store inventory including processing shipments and resetting merchandise.
- Assist with accurate product counts in a consistent and timely manner.
- Support and adhere to all NBA Store Retail policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Required Knowledge & Skills**
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to initiate completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
- Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
- Standing required for up to 100% of the time.
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to prove eligibility to work Australia.
